There is a cheer. The gnomes have learned a new way to say hooray. The walls, such they be, are crawling with geometric hallucinations. Very brightly coloured, very irridescent. Deep sheens and very highly reflective surfaces everything is machine-like and polished and throbbing with energy but that is not what immediately arrests my attention. What arrests my attention is the fact that this space is inhabited. I want to buy a fixed gear bike. Don’t ask why. Probably a peer pressure. My requirements are:

• Steel or carbon frame
• Free wheel and fixed gear option
• Breaks
• Cheap

I would kind of like to get something I do not have to add anything, so Bianchi Pista is kind of problematic since it has no breaks. Anyway, here are some candidates:

• Schwinn Madison
• Raleigh Rush Hour
• Bianchi Pista

Unfortunately I cannot find any 2007′s left, so I will have to wait until 2008 come out.
